if we can only love like kids...

If we can only love like kids...

If only we  can love like kids, life would be simple
You do things because you like to do it,
And you say words because you mean it.

If only we  can love like kids, life would be simple
Words are easier said
And actions are easier done

If only we  can love like kids, Everything would be appreciated
Every person will be honest with what he feels
And fear would has no place in his heart

If only we  can love like kids,
things will be just as it is but with a little twist
a flower is still a flower but is given by a prince
and a heartache is made by the monster from under the bed

If only we  can love like kids, we’ll appreciate little things -
Time to spend with each other
Hugs and kisses make the day
and a simple prayer of thanks will always be heard

Little kids are the best teachers, i guess.
Life for them is simple.
Life for them is like this: eat. sleep. play. Laugh. Believe. And enjoy whatever that is given to you.
They give meaning to everything, as if every object and every person
Has an important significance in their lives.
They just want to be hugged, to be kissed and be tucked in bed
And their worst fear is to be rejected and be left alone.

If only we  can love like kids, then maybe we could be better persons.
Fighting would end after a minute. No broken relationships.
Just many chances to make up and be happy together again.
and if that happens, then
the world will be a better place to live in.
A place how God has designed it to be.
If only we  can love like kids.
